Common questions

How do I install Plinq?

Install from the Chrome Web Store. Pin the extension to your toolbar for one-click access, then sign in (or create a free account) the first time you open it.

How do I copy a branded hyperlink?

Open the Plinq popup, click the copy icon next to any saved link, then paste into Gmail, Outlook, HubSpot, Slack, or any rich-text editor. The recipient sees your anchor text — not the URL.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

How do click tracking and analytics work?

When you enable tracking on a link, Plinq generates a redirect URL. When someone clicks it, our server logs the click (timestamp, device, approximate location, and referrer) and instantly forwards them to the real destination. The recipient sees no difference — but you can see exactly when and where your link was opened. Tracking is opt-in per link.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Open the Plinq extension, go to Settings, and click Manage Billing. That opens the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel, change plans, or update payment methods. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

How do I export or back up my links?

Open Settings in the extension and click Export. This downloads a JSON file containing every link, folder, and color tag you've saved. You can re-import it later or move to a different Chrome profile.
